Cecilia Maria Bozzini
Cecilia is a master’s student in Organic Chemistry at the University of Pavia, Italy, where she is conducting research on photoswitches for her thesis under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Stefano Protti at the PhotoGreen Lab. She is undertaking a traineeship in supramolecular photochemistry at Uppsala University, Sweden, in the Crespi Group, working under Dr. Stefano Crespi. Prior to her master’s studies, she completed her bachelor’s degree in Chemistry at the University of Pavia, focusing on photodynamic therapy for the treatment of skin tumors. Throughout her academic journey, she has gained valuable international experience, including a year spent as an exchange student at Poole High School in the UK.
